Karli and Dusty - UF - Gainesville Wedding Photographer

We recently shot an engagement session for Karli and Dusty at the UF Campus. This is one of our favorite sessions of the year. Like many of our sessions that take place at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and the UF Campus, we started at the stadium and just wandered around stopping periodically. We typically do not have a set plan on what we are going to do.. We just do it!! That means we generally walk around and as we see things we stop, shoot it and move on. That was no different with the session.

You will see that they have props with them as well. We like to tell people to be themselves. This helps ensure that the pictures are about them and not just a spot that we shoot all the time. Karli and Dusty decided they wanted to bring a few things with them for the session. It was actually quite funny watching Dusty carry around balloons and someone even stopped to ask if he just proposed. But they did make for some awesome photographs.

Take a look and let us know what you think.

Kim and Chris - Steinhatchee Landing Resort - Gainesville Wedding Photographers

Kim and Chris got married over the weekend at the Steinhatchee Landing Resort. This place was awesome. It is made up for several old Victorian style houses and an old chapel, where the wedding took place. There were several other things that helped make our job easy. :) It helps to have a couple who didn't mind having their pictures taken and were up to pretty much everything that we suggested.

We have a lot of things to post in the coming days, so stay tuned and check back often

Autumn and Chuck - Citrus Hills - Central Florida Wedding Photographer

Autumn and Chuck got married a few weeks ago at Citrus Hills. They had a small, intimate ceremony with close friends and family in attendance. We were a little concerned with the weather before the wedding, since it looked like it was going to rain, but it held off and we were able to do some cool shots outside. Here are a few of our favorites

Carey and Aaron - Crystal River - Central Florida Wedding Photographer

We recently photographed Carey and Aaron's wedding in Crystal River. The wedding was held in the back yard of some friends of the bride's mother. It was a very simple, yet elegant ceremony. Back yard weddings are typically more relaxed and consist of some very close friends. This was no exception. We got to do some awesome shots as the sun was going down, creating some beautiful colors in the sky. It was awesome!!

Jennifer and Aaron's Wedding - Bay Laurel, Micanopy - Gainesville Wedding Photographers

Yes... We are a little behind on the blogging, but that just means that we have a lot to show off in the coming days. :) Jennifer and Aaron got married on October 3rd at Bay Laurel in Micanopy. The wedding was beautiful, as was the wedding venue. Bay Laurel is a photographer's dream. There are several places to take awesome shots. It was amazing. The only slight downside was that it was a little hot, but hey its Florida... what do you expect.

The wedding ran very smoothly, thanks to Angel from Avie. It is something that is overlooked at many weddings, but having a wedding planner can make your planning so much easier. They can also make your wedding day less stressful as they resolve any problems that may arise. If you are looking for a wedding planner, she is an awesome choice. You will not be disappointed!!

Here are a few of the images from the day!! Enjoy!!

Josh Senior Pictures - Inverness FL - Central Florida Photographer

We had the privilege of photographing Josh's Senior Portraits last week. We shot them at one of our favorites spots in Inverness. This location works great for senior portraits as there are a lot of places to go. There are also lots of natural posing aides (trees, fences, etc) that help make our clients look relaxed.

Josh was very easy to work with and didnt complain about the 100+ degree heat we encountered. As with all of our sessions, we just walked around and stopped here and there for some shots and then moved on. We never really have a set plan when we do portraits, we just kinda go with the flow. It helps that we usually have awesome clients that are gun-ho about some of our craziness. :)

Samantha and Robert -- The Beach House -- Anna Maria Island

We shot Samantha and Robert's wedding that took place on Saturday at The Beach House in Bradenton (Anna Maria Island). It was a beautiful ceremony that ended just before sunset. We were a little worried about the weather as it was supposed to rain all weekend, but the weather was awesome. We got blessed with a cool sunset as well. Below are a few images from the wedding. Enjoy!!!
